My name is Denika Carothers and I am presently an Executive Director with HerbalNature Organic Hair & Body Products. Before I
became a Director with this phenomenal enterprise, I was first a HerbalNature client.
Get Healthy Hair Now was birthed in 2009 out of a desire to help people achieve their natural hair goals. I believe deep down inside we
all desire to have naturally beautiful, healthy, long, strong and chemical free hair. My hair was chemically processed from about the age
of seven. I vividly remember the torture of a burning scalp, being told "leave it on just a little while longer" while oil sheen was sprayed
on to the areas that were burning to cool the burn down. So it became a way of life for me from the age of seven up until the age of 40.
In 2008 I was introduced to HerbalNature Organic Hair & Body Products by the founder of the company Daphne Wills. I believe that
this connection was as a divine result of my inner desire to get away from chemicals in every form; food, body products, hair products,
etc. I was on a journey of becoming more consciously aware of what I put into my body and onto my body. I really wanted to transition
from chemicals and find a way to wear my hair natural which up until 2008 was a challenge. It was a challenge because I was not
able to find a product that would give me hair the look and feel that I was desiring (and believe you me I tried ALOT of products, so
much so that I dubbed myself a "product junkie". If it "sounded" good, I tried it, however everything I tried either did not moisturize my
hair sufficiently or made it too greasy; either made it hard and stiff or left it looking dry and frizzy. Because I have such thick hair I was
looking for a product that would make it easy to manage, comb and style without having to use products that contained petroleum jelly,
mineral oil or alcohol. Then one day my inner desires and prayers led me to HerbalNature products - All Natural, Organic, Herbal

April 2011 I am 1-1/2 years post relaxer having chopped off the remaining chemically treated hair 5 months ago.
I have been able to experience a successful transition without having to lose the length of my hair. Once my natural hair grew to below
shoulder length I was able to gradually trim my ends until I had removed all of the chemically processed hair.
